Alabaster is a dutch band creating introspective, narrative-driven songs about transition, connection, and the quiet moments in between. Formed through long-standing friendships, the band brings together different lives, professions and musical backgrounds into a shared artistic language.

Each member followed a different path, but music remained a constant. Those parallel lives shape Alabaster’s sound: intimate and restrained, yet emotionally direct. Their songs explore themes of becoming, loss, doubt and human connection. Not in grand gestures, but in subtle details and honest reflection.

In 2025, Alabaster began recording their debut EP Songs for the In-Between, a collection of songs written during periods of change. The EP reflects the band’s desire to slow things down, to create space for vulnerability and to give meaning to moments that often pass unnoticed.

Alabaster approaches music with care and intention, focusing on atmosphere, storytelling and live dynamics. Their sound balances indie and singer-songwriter influences with a cinematic sensibility, aiming to connect with listeners on a deeply personal level, both on record and on stage.
